hey ppl, its alredy sat. almost the end of the first week of the hols.. haha.. i think i kinda enjoyed myself this week. yesterday played a game of golf.. played quite well..
then my dad was watching the 'goliver travels' dvd so i just watched too.. woah, i must say it was a really good movie.. it was adapted from the book.. about this guy who had adventures of travelling first to the small town.. u know the one where is he like a giant and the tiny ppl tie him up.. yea that one.. but the one i watched was like 3 cds which last like 3 hrs.. i watched the whole thing.. haha.. really interesting.. there was a teaching in the end which was very intersting.. about how we humans are actually such hooligans and our world is indeed very corrupted.. it was the part when goliva went to this place where there lived horses and this race called the yahoos..
they are indeed like humans while they were more of salvagers, more like our cavemen... while the horses were the more majestic ppl who could talk and stuff.. so they were wondering why we wear clothes, gamble, how our society works.. and it all seemed pretty stupid to them.. cause corruption and conflict never existed between them while it happens in us.. and we wonder why..
so yea, its really intersting to think abt it.. but i bet you all are just wondering what the heck im saying.. well just go read the book or watch the movie for yourselves.. you wont regret it.. well at least i didnt..
anws, yea.. today was a pretty intersting day too..
got up, went for a math tuition.. and we had a really intersting conversation at the end of class..
like do you support homosexuality in our society.. ppl were like 'yes, why not'.. while the teacher and me and my friend were like NO MAN..
haha, really funny.. then this girl said that.. gay should be approved cause if more ppl were gay.. there would be more adoption of children from africa to more families.. so that would solve the poverty in the children in africa..
but i was thinking and that didnt realy make any sense.. first of all, what makes you so sure ppl would adopt african children.. ppl would rather adopt of child of his/her's own race as it would feel more comforrable to raise this child in the same environment with not much culutral diferences.. so yea, african children would not be adopted..
however, if it was a policy that if you adopt, it has to be an african kid.. well, even if ppl do adopt, what makes you think the african kid would be living in happyness.. he may be more healthy now and able to live in a more wealthy environment howver defintely he will be outcasted or missing his family back home.. so yea, thats how i feel..
but i feel that there should be NO GAYS. please.. imgaine u suddenly realise you have two moms or two dads in your family.. how would you feel.. definitely miserable.. and its so unhealthy for a child to be raised like that.. and this may even encourae the child to be gay his/herself..
so yea, thats a math.. later came home for swimming.. had dinner.. watched socer matches.. used the com.. and that's abt it.. really slack time.. haha.. i can even do this the whole week next week! haha, no i.b.a for me... =D
tmr's yppae not gonna be practice but helping out the litttle kids for thier performance.. well, we are running out of time before our performance.. only about really litttle time before we start performing alredy.. those who want tickets please inform me.. so yea..
