HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE. Today's the first day of school of 2008! and i finally get to wear long pants and all but it gets dirty pretty easily. haha. anyway today was nice, got to meet new teachers and all. but sadly 3 of our classmates are no longer in our class cause of retain or change class or migrate.. feel sorry for them.
anyways, will be going to malaysia for leadership developement programme on the 12th of Jan until 19th i think.. hope it'll be nice.
here are pics taken during new year's eve lunch with the family. haha ate at this jap restaurunt.. really nice food except we were creating a little too much noise. 4 coolest dudes. haha and 1 more. lol then New year's day lunch again at nuss guild house. tried their spanish food that they were having, it tasted good.

Penang trip in December
heyy people! back in singapore since wednesday and things have been great.. well i spent my last week in Penang and here are the pictures.. =)
we reached on wednesday night, then went for super good hawker food and then went back to sleep.
on thursday, we waked up early in the morning to walk the dogs! my aunt has 5 dogs and they are all so cute..
naming from the right is Mandy, then Hollie, then Mindy and Rocky.. haha, well there is another called Nestum but i think she's sleeping.. those 3 on top are the daughters of Rocky and Rocky is the only guy in the family. haha, he's so cute la.. golden retreivers are..
then i think went home and just relaxed, watched tv and evrything..
then on some night we went for dinner at this really nice open air restaurant.. everything was outdoor and there were sofas.. really nice and good food. Well, so it was just good food and relaxing at my aunts really nice house.. haha.
then it was 23rd dec, my bro's bday, went to another nice restaruant! hah
then this carol from a church came to out restaraunt and started singing christmas carols. well then later they sang happy bday for my bro and it was really cool.. haha there's grandma there. ahah, so cool christmas eve dinner again at home.. haha we listened to nice music.. ate dinner.. it was a nice quiet christmas eve experience. then we got to open presents on christmas.. everyone crowding around there.. i gt 2 shirts and a webcam. haha, what a combination.
well thats abt it in penang..
today went out with my bro, yida, qianhui and qianning.. watched i am legend. walked around a little and thats it..

so i have been in Penang since Wednesday night now, and i cant tell you how good the food is here! its like 3 times better than the food we have and all. the char kuay teow, Penang laksa, hokkien mee, chendol everything! hahaha
well, will be posting the pics we took when i reach Penang though, but so far have been going around, went to some shopping mall yesterday.. and my aunts house is seriously really nice, with 5 dogs.. got to bring them for a walk on thursday morning though.. yeah.. and there's this house really near m aunts house that looks like a castle! crap! i heard it cost like 50 million or smth cause the inside was said to be all gold plated and everything.. will try to take a pic of that house la.. aha
well now, maybe going for lunch and perhaps out i guess.. everything turning out quite well.. haha

hey people, leaving to penang in just 2 days already! ah! and after that christmas would be over and a brand new year and school reopens for the year 2008. =(
wow, times flies so fast when i thought the holidays just started while its alredy ending! ai yoo, this really sucks. anw, i feel like staying in singapore and going out with friends.. but i guess i'l be enjoying my time in penang. but i defintely want to go out a few more times before school starts! thats a must..
The christmas spirit is all over singapore now.. seeing all the lights and designs all around orchard road and more. its really nice if it were snowing though. haha, but that would never happen. i love chirstmas, well in overseas in so nice, where you see everyone following the old traditions of christmas. Caroling, eating christmas eve dinner and everything..
Its really nice, christms is just the spirit of giving and having fun. Best time to go out with someone really special or a group of close friends and just enjoying this beautiful holiday season of the year. i feel its the happiest time and one of my favourite times in the year. =)

shao er zu bbq
hey everyone! changed blogsong to Shadow and Regrets by Yellowcard. really meaningful song. guess im much energetic now and also because im stuck in my dad's office,i shall blog abt the bbq yesterdayy. hah, well it was fun.
first, me and my bro dropped off at yida's house at around 2.15. put the plates, cups and everything in the house first. then three of us watched mtv and some show on discovery channel about super humans. its seriously amazing when a guy can calculate the number of dots on the screen shown for 1 second and off! anw, after that 3 of us met zhibin at jurong east mrt then walked to IMM and met up with yi li there. so shopping for food and everyting, crapping and doing stuff in the supermarket.
haha, really funny to think back about it. shopping for groceries with a group of friends can really get crazy. haha then after that we were rolling the trolley back out and we realised we forgot to pay for the brush! it was hidden in the trolley, haha, but what could we do? so we just left. haha, but it must have been karma or something. we had to walk in the rain all the way to the bus stop with some of us quite drenched after that. then took a bus back to yida's house.
me, ern, yida and yi li, four of us slacking in the house watching mtv and animal plannet. haha. lucky it was a dog show and not a cat show if not yi li would have gone crazy. haha. well, it was nice. we rested until around 6. then we started going down for the bbq.
so yah me, ern, yida, yili and zhi bin were there getting the stuff rdy like washing stuff and all. a while later kangting cam and joined us. yeah
then people started coming in first, i can still rmbr the order i think haha. dingqun came first, then yunqi, then the people from xiang sheng then jia xuan,then zidan i think, then wen jie then the rest. i cant rmbr xD.

havent been blogging for such a long time now. well alot has happened well my bro has come back to singapore already. been working until friday this week. so far went around shopping for bro's stuff on saturday and sunday. but on saturday we couldnt do much stuff cause me and my bro slept at 3a.m on friday, and well i work up at 11a.m while ern woke up at 4p.m.. 4P.M! crap! wasted kinda the whole afternoon. well, after went to orchard with mommy and bro to buy stuff and all.
and basically today was also like that. haha. but today we went to plaza singapura and guess what, there was a pokemon fair there!! haha
didnt know there were these new pokemons and stuff. haha. but they're all cool.
then went to g2000 to get a full suit for my bro so i tried on a blazer. haha
well, got a shirt. so kinda cool.
and tmr's the bbq! haha, but so many pppl cant make it. really sad la. but we'll try to make the best out of it. =)
got to reach at 3p.m to get the stuff, hope it turns out well.

i guess im spending my time now working. have to go my dad's office almost everyday for job attachment, well at least i got to eat in some big dim sum restarurant yesterday with my dad for breakfast, and it's cheap somemore. haha

Singapore Design Festival 2007
hey people. okay i finally finshed watching my series of death note. so sad it ended alredy.. =(. now i got nothing to watch which is nice.. i wish they would come up with a second season. death note is super interesting, and its like the stuff they do is "wow". you can see how smart the japs can possibly be, well they were always my idol. haha. now i think im just going to watch some love animes or smth. haha.
yesterday went with yida to see the singapore design festival.. i think that everything there was really nice, espically how they made use of old stuff to form new things by reusing and recycling stuff. the stuff were all very environmental friendly. and they had like multipurpose stuff and alot of abstract things.
i feel that i definitely enjoyed this experience and would definitely go again the next time. to all people, go for it! its seriously nice. =)
there you go. the theme this year was utterrubbish! where they made use of alll your "rubbish" and create brand new stuff from it. really cool now shall just let the pics tell the story this is dam nice. trying to say like we are just killing the earth and also ourselves at the same time. the head is the earth. some ideas, they had merry go round they made. but it cant move. hah. but its made up of old stuff. before you go into this room, you have to crawl thorugh some small hole to get in. and in the background there is soothing music like those you hear at carnivals. the main point was trying to let you remember your childhood days. the sofa made from a bathtub. wow the boxing bags made from paper. which are actually really strong. but they are so nice to hug. =) wow. lol oh yeah this, they actually gave you paper to draw out a design your own seat model. so i drew some chair which was like some toilet bowl but there's also places to put your newspapers and stuff. xD. yida's was like a seat in a tree. you just carve it from the tree. the toy models. designed by the people. some crap people got to write. haha. xD. so true! we all should totally do this. haha. xD kidding so yeah had alot of fun inside this place. its only 3 bucks entrance fee for the exibition. really worth it la. its at the old supreme court at city hall there. yup.
anw, going to central mall now with my mum. she's nvr been there so yeah. maybe going to buy something.
