Ok guys! im back, not dead yet, just have been really busy studying and trying my best not to go on the computer unless there's work. So there so much that happened over the last weeks.
ok, last Thursday. went for planet shakers concert! They are this christian band that comes over to Singapore every year. So for me, this was my first time and also my first concert! I was just so overjoyed when my school teacher passed me four tickets to the concert, and its actually free by the way if you enter after 7.15p.m. But to guarantee a good placing, the ticket would come in handy. So i dragged Chester and Ryan with me and had an extra ticket meant for Bryan but he couldn't go. So in the end, after asking others, no one else could make it so i guess that was kept as a souvenir. haha. So it was at expo, lasted from 8 - 10. And i must say i lost my voice after that. xD. Most of the time jumping up and down and shouting and singing my hearts out to praise god! So awesome, we took pics but its currently with ryan now. Will get it if possible.
Hillsong is coming to singapore too! on the 24th of may. Anyone interested to go?? Its 5 dollars, but im sure it'll be really fun. =)
So basically, have been studying quite alot and trying to make use of my time wisely espiacally at this time of the year where mid years are just 2 weeks away. So i have Chinese Oral this friday, which actually led to the meeting with Yida last sunday at the national library.
So for the weekend, i was left alone at home as my parents left for malaysia to send ah ma home. Saturday filled with tuition from 11a.m all the way to 7p.m. ITs actually manageable! can you believe it. haha. i apologise qianhui for not being able to attend the school bazaar.
On Sunday, went to weseley youth service at 9.20a.m at YWCA, and it was actually quite entertaining. I felt that the speaker really hit me with his words, and life is more meaningful for me now. After that, met with yida to go to the library to 'study'. haha, actually we did, for about 15minutes when we decided that it was actually too quiet for discussions. What do i mean? A guy would stare at us when we were just discussing abt our work, so i guess it was not thar suitable. haha. Went just outside the research section there where there is this big place, so we just sat on the floor and discussed abt chinese oral topics. haha, yida's really good at it and i must say for myself, i really got to improve! i did not even know what consult in chinese was! What is it again actually? haha
So he helped me quite alot for my chinese until around 3 plus where we decided to meet up with yi li. Met here at city hall, me still carrying the chinese Oral book in my hand and still discussing about it. We talked for some time, then they got starbucks and left home, while i too made my way home. Yi li just came for about half an hour with me and off she went with yida, now thats friendship. xD nahs, just kidding. Friendship is basically just understand another person and just doing whats best for him/her.
So, today was my school's rugby finals, and we won actually! 15-11. well done guys. Not that i was there, but i was supposed to be actually. But due to unfortunate circumstances, i left with my group to the Children's society to tutor them instead. Tutored Samuel Science and English until around 5p.m when it was their rest time. They actually had a toy pool table and it was so fun. joined in with them and had quite a great time. haha. i had no intention of ponning rugby okay.! anyways, hopefully a holiday please. give us a day off!
haha, so thats about it. will try to blog as much as possible though. =) so this line that i heard from somebody that had a big impact on yida. haha. "Good memories are bad.." its true isnt it! When you think of your good memories, you think its all over and get quite emo. haha
