What a great weekend i had. On friday, thanks to chester and daryl i had to pon.. well lets say "postpone" my tuition to another day just to spend the afternoon watching movie. Well, it was worth it. Haven t been out for quite some time now, and it was definitely fun. haha. So after school me, chester and daryl went to vivo city to watch red cliff. It was an awesome movie! Just be aware of the last part which ruins everything when the "to be continued" comes out.. You just wish you could watch the whole movie at that time. Its already 2 and a half hours long but still cannot be finished. Anw, its really good. Go catch it. I love zhu ge liang in that movie, really smart. Then due to time constrain we only had 5 minutes to eat lunch just before the movie which was at 2.30p.m so we rushed to 7-11 to buy some paos and drinks to smuggle in. haha.
After the movie, we walked around, talked, went to visit candy empire there. oh man, its really heaven there. xD. cant believe chester spend 80 bucks on candy! my gosh, he's crazy. but what can you do abt his addiction over beef jerky and sweets. haha, so ate at carls junior for dinner then went to toys r' us ( i have no idea why). Well, the rubber balls there are pretty bouncy and so are the Frisbees. haha. we didn't do anything.
So on Saturday, had tuition until 2p.m. Then me, my bro and my dad followed mum to this Irish graduate dinner at Singapore cricket club. very nice. will post pictures. And it was even amazing cause the N.D.P preview was just right next to it and there were actually fireworks too.
On Sunday, me and my family went to suntec city for the whole day. Listened to this Scholars talk on universities. Actually got this book and career guidance just in case i find interest in something else. xD. Then after that went to ada's ( my brother friend's) church called new creation church which is in suntec city itself. Can you imagine that church has actually a few thousand people per service so you can see a massive long line leading into the rock auditorium. and you have to get tickets to get a seat in it. wow, but i must say it's really good. The talk by their pastor called pastor prince is really good. He's quite famous by the way for being very charismatic. haha. Really funny pastor.
So thats the weekend, today went to the children's society ALONE, cause no1 else wanted to go. tutored Samuel then came home.
Oh man, charity bazaar is coming up next Monday too. and yida, we got to make the brownies man for this cafe man! haha, anws, there is this festival of praise coming up on 1st of august which is a friday night at 7p.m at the Singapore indoor stadium. its free by the way and i would be more than happy if anyone would like to go with me. its basically this Christian concert and it would be fun.

O lvl listening compre is over! which means its all finished. oh yeah! so chinese lesson has been quite slack this week. Our teacher letting us watch "I not stupid 2". Its such a good movie. And we see characters so similiar to some of my classmates in our class. like Nic Soh being compared to one of the character who freeloads food away, or daniel being compared to a guy who looks very blur. haha
Oh yes, tution was pretty funny yesterday. Cause our teacher keeps this chinchilla underneath her staricase and we tell her how her chinchilla can just go crazy or get a heart attack every time she shouts at us. And she tells us to pay the fees if not there would be no food to feed the chinchilla. haha. By the way, if you dont know what a chinchilla is, its just this fat little animal which looks like a rat and aguinea pig at the same time. haha, and extremely sly as well, from my brother's experience of having it steal an apple crumb from him.
Anws, batman is out. Its a real good movie according to my bro so go and catch it guys!

I.B symposium is over.
Hans, Marcus and Ananth up there. Its 4.14 class. Their set up were really nice. They had a skid too! about environmental stability. and the guy on the right with sunglasses is called little tommy. hahaAnd look at ours! this is just part of it we thought of. xD. You're supposed to feel like you're in a room in Ethiopia. and we used dead leaves for the top too. haha smiling so widely with bryan. xD Okay, these are the love loafs. They are actually donation boxes that me and poon had lots of fun getting money for the people suffering from extreme poverty. We got it from world vision. It was actually filled to the top at the end Our poster! Me and a couple of friends (poon and zich) were in charge of poster. nice right? Its all hand made... Going to be thrown awayOur class was the best. ZERO votes at the end. man, at least we enjoyed ourselves.
So I.B symposium is over for the week, start of normal lessons again. Chinese O level listening compre is tomorrow. wish me luck.
Went to New creation church on Sunday at Suntec City. and it was real good! the pastor was realy funny.

hey guys, today was another slack day. haha. had an outing to orchard for our IB symposium. Basically, the objective was for us to give out the surveys we made to the passerbys regarding the issue of eradicating poverty. But ended up that among the 10 of us in one group. Only me and poon were giving out the surveys. haha.
Well, i noticed one thing. It was only the tourist that did our surveys and only one was a local. we tried asking them, but they denied us so quickly. man! and its real funny, how you see their reaction, like all scared when they are walking towards us. With their heads down, trying to avoid eye contact, listening to mp3s and all sorts of stuff. haha, can really tell that the locals really hate people in uniforms asking for surveys. Well, its not their fault, i understand how they feel epically whenever i walk in orchard and i see a student approaching me for a survey. Now, i realise how tough it is, and i'lldefinitely do one if approached by them. xD. But the tourists are really nice, all caucasions, and most of them just arrived in singapore less than 24 hrs ago. haha. Well, they are real easy to approach and talk to. All you got to do is say, "welcome to singapore!", and you see a wide smile appearing on their faces. haha.

We stayed in orchard from 9a.m to about 12.45p.m, then took the bus back to school and that was basically it. haha.
Have to start on work too ( i notice i have repeated this statement for quite a number of times). haha

hey people. Chinese o level oral was hell, don't want to talk about it, just want to forget about it.
Besides that, the past week has been real fun. had youth day celebrations at school on Thursday. There was a soccer match between the teachers and the prefects, and it was a real good match ending with a score of 3-3, where the prefects won in the end by penalty kicks. So because of that, all of us had free ice cream in class, (and i greedily took 2 ice creams by the way). haha, that was only because there were 10 plus extras. We could come to school in any casual clothes we wanted, so it was nice to see so many different colors for the first time. haha
Anything stupid happened? Lets see. Our physics teacher was being real lame as usual but super funny. Okay, i must say he is not exactly thin, but perhaps on the plump side. xD (sorry sir!) So today, tim tan was picking up something he dropped on the floor but couldn't reach it so our teacher was like "Cmon, pick it up. Only thin people like me can pick it up faster." hahaha. that was a great laugh, especially with his strong Indian accent. Hilarious i must say.
Anws, We are basically having this I.P symposium next week starting from today. We had talks after talks in the auditorium. Actually, it was quite interesting to hear about the United Nations and ASEAN and also about the environment "go green"campaigns. So no lessons. =) haha. For our Year 4s, our topic is actually on eradicating the poverty problems. So the whole next week we would be planning on our we could improve on the poverty rates and also create surveys and posters. Im doing posters! haha. and we actually get to go to either city hall or orchard road on Wednesday if im not mistaken to give out surveys at about 10a.m. So its a change for next week.
Anws, tomorrow going out with Yppae friends. Most likely for a movie. And maybe dinner. And Monday too, bowling! hahas
