hey everyone. havent been updating the whole week. Oral commentary on Macbeth is next wednesday and so is my chinese test. IHS essay also due next week. Found time to get up early on a saturday morning to write this post.
Basically quite alot happened, had the charity bazaar on Monday. It was real fun as there were no lessons the whole day and basically selling the brownies that yida made. Okay, this was the scary part. Before selling the brownies, i checked on it and found a hole in the middle of it which was quite catchy to the eyes. So it didnt really look appealing to eat as it also looked like there was a plastic covering sticking to the brownies itself. So i was really panicked as i forgot to bring tissue to put the brownies on too. So i was thinking and in the end i went to get a packet of mnms for it to be put on the brownies. and it looked so much better. xD And for the tissue, i had to buy it from a stall aunty. haha
So we managed to sell all the brownies ranging from $ 1 to 2.50 for the smallest to the biggest. Thanks yida, your brownies were widely praised by lots of people.
Anws, On Sunday actually met up with my cousins (Jing and Shuen) and my aunt who came in from msia. So we went for lunch at suntec city and after that had a picnic at eat coast! I had been longing for something like that in a long while.
Then me and ern were so excited that we immediately rented a bike when we reached and cycled from about 4.30p. m to 6.30p.m.
Sadly when we were going for a last lap, ern's bike broke down and the ball bearings were all over the floor. So we had a long 1.5km walk back to the shop. haha.
The weekend was fun while it lasted.
Yesterday, FOP! Festival of Praise!
IT was awesome, although me and my bro felt that the sermon was a little bit draggy. But Parachute (they are superb) was there and so was Reuben Morgan (Lead singer of Hillsong). I actually never knew the parachute band, but their songs are great. I admire the lead singer. When he was only a kid he suffered many operations. He had a thumb growing on his face which was operated out. Friends made fun of him in school and he was actually on the verge of commiting suicide when he was about 15 years old that Christmas Day all alone at home. He was in tears and could not understand why things were this way. He actually challenged God that if he doesnt come to him at that moment, he would go to the garage with a rope and take his own life away. But God came to him that moment and told him "I love you".
God is a great god and i don't want to forget that.
I went with my bro, edward and ada in the end. Before going in, Ern and Ada bought packets of potato chips and cookies but couldnt bring it in in the end. haha. it had to be put in the lockers outside. including my green tea!
Now that i think of it, i feel blessed for all these great moments.
