Basketball with xueyu, zhi bin, zidan, waineng, xiao jun, khor, robbin and ying xi jie today.
Man, havent exercised in months and this one actually completely tired me out today. Took a three hours nap once i got home. haha. Actually managed to learn how to shoot and lay up from khor. And xue yu being our 3 pointer michael jordon. It was great.

Happy being able to meet up with yppae friends again. Also so much fun. Haha.

Oh yes, and me and my bro had dinner at plaza sing just now. My brother's stomach is a bottomless pit i tell you. Well, i was pretty full after Carls Junior with the Double western bacon cheeseburger with fries and iced tea. And my brother had this One Guacamole double cheeseburger, one packet of fries, 3 piece chicken, one mashed potato and one coleslaw from KFC and four drinks. For dinner. Haha. Does he have potential for eating contest or what.

haha God bless

Trip to UK December 2008 and Merry Christmas

HEY guys! Finally back. A memorable trip indeed.

Visited so many places i have never seen before. Like went for my first soccer match, went to the World famous British museum, went to the prehistoric museum, saw dinosaur artifacts, got to go to both Cambridge and Oxford, both being the leading universities of the world. Got to see the famous Beatles zebra crossing, Got to see the Shopping sales over there in Oxford street, Got to sit the Singapore Airlines A380. It was great.

So here are the many pictures during the whole trip. =)

At Changi Airport Terminal 3
So this was the second day at Oxford. Took an hours drive there and the interesting thing is that no cars are actually allowed in the city. Everybody has to park their cars in an area and take a bus to the city. So there are actually many buses and bicycles in that area.

At St Peter's collegeThe streets are mostly made from stone.

Had lunch at this nice Irish restaurant where it offered this realy nice burger and stew for only around 5 pounds each. It was really worth it.

Beautiful Oxford.

So that's what Oxford looks like. haha. The next few days later was spent in Cambridge. Only about an hour's drive from London.

Ok, i was basically just a little hyper there. Haha.
I love this. This is King's college.

Cambridge is really beautiful. The town is lively and i think i would prefer it to Oxford. Although both are very nice.So this is a street band we saw in Cambridge. Its really loud! Haha. They named themselves the "loudest band in Cambridge". Well, basically they have drums and just beat it. Haha. But its nice, sounds catchy.

Oh yes, and this was that shop in Cambridge. Haha, Qianhui, look familiar?

So after that, Ern had to return to Singapore for his N.S. This was at Hethrow Airport. So the next day we spent the night at this Christmas festival called Winter Wonderland in London, Hyde Park.
Some of the stalls selling goodies.
Frosty! where did your arms go!

xD. You see the guy at the back was this freaky robot who couldnt stop laughing. haha.

So the next day, we took the tube to the famous British muesum. The place is just fantastic. There were artefacts from Southeast Asia, Japan, Korea, China, India, Egypt, Africa and Europe.
Goodness, this artwork looked so real.
Such an honour to actually see real mummies which have been more than 2000 years old. Mummification was actually meant for high statused people during those time. And its amazing how the skeleton could actually be still intact after so many years.
In China section

And they had this section which wrote the life stories of those children and people who had life threatening diseases. Those small little things are actually drugs.
So after that left for seven sisters station cause thats' where white hart lane stadium is! Was at the ticketing station.

To dare is to do...

Haha, met this guy outisde the stadium and we actually had a delightful conversation. Haha, he's a real spurs fan. Cant rmbr his name though. =\ oh no.
The awesome stadium. spurs!

The players warming up before the match.
And it was the match was great. With people at the sides cheering. And we actually had a live commentator behind us if you know what i mean. "Come on Spurs! Buck it up!" "Come on Jamie son!" "Luka wants it, Luka wants it" "Hey refree, You're weak!" were the comments by these three spurs fan behind us. It was quite an experience. xD

Garren Bale.

Speedy Aaron Lennon. He really turned the game around when he was substituted in after the second half. The score against Spartak Moscow was 2-2 in the end. Great game, with Spurs scoring 2 goals during the second half to equalize. Next day, went to the National History Museum.
Dinosaur Artifacts.

Then this was the Human Biology section.
Shh, dont wake the baby up.
Then we took a trip to Waterloo. This area is where the big ben, London eye, river thames, King college are.

This is a part of King's ceollege.
Haha, actually saw these street performers while walking past river thames.

The big ben and river thames in the back. London eye.

So after that, left for London's War musuem.

And this was actually the bomb "little boy". The one that bombed Hiroshima which helped Singapore gain independence. I am not sure if this was the actual size but i was surprised it was that small and that powerful enough to destroy an entire city.
The next day, we went to Hyde park which was well known for its Speaker's corner. A place where anyone could go and apparently just say whatever you want. Even if it was to critisize the government was what i heard. Haha.

Marble Arch.Went to Harrods as well. Which is known as the most expensive department store in London.
And this was the famous beatles zebra crossing at Abbey street. Haha.

So went to St Paul's Cathedral after that. It's actually prestigious cause Prince Charles and Princess Diana actually got married there and Sir Wiston Chruchill (Prime minister of Britain during the World War 2) is burried in there.

Haha, just playing around.

Walked past Charles Dickens house as well.

Haha, i guess we ruined that kind of a prestigious atmosphere there. Then went on to my dad's hostel in which in stayed in when he was studying here.

The eating hall reminds me of those Harry potter kind of place.

Then went to Malaysian Hall. This is actually a place where the malaysians actually used meet up and catch up. But now it seems like it has turned more into a hotel instead.
Ok then took a walk to Chinatown to buy some groceries. Oh my goodness, i had this experience here that me and my family would never forget. Never eat the wanton mee here cause its just the worst you would ever taste! Well, thats how i felt when we went into this Chinese restaurant thinking that a bowl of Wanton noodles for 3 pounds was actually worth it. But me and my mum just had to agree that it was really the worst we had ever tasted! Gosh, i can really say not as good as instant noodles. Haha, at least this is something we would never forget.
So then this was my cousin's place where we stayed in.

So on the 23th of December, bye bye to london. Took the A380 back to Singapore. It was really an enjoyable trip. Got to see many landmarks i had never seen before.

So that was london! =)

Oh yes, and today being Christmas. Just want to wish everyone a blessed Christmas. Lets live up the Christmas Spirit by doing something special, helpful and meaningful to anyone during this period.

Have a happy new year.

Alright third day in London and everything is great. Took a tour around Oxford town yesterday and its beautiful. Well, its just filled with many old buildings, well if you have guessed it, it is the oldest university in England. Really nice place with a small street for shopping as well.

So life has been going slow over here. Haha. People just taking their own time around. Well, did i mention that the weather's just perfect! xD Well, its around 4 degress and its really nice when you take a walk along the streets. Having your fish and chips taken away at the same time.

Well, Just came back from White Hart lane. Its where the spurs stadium is. Haha. Bought a beanie and a scarf. Will be watching a match on the 18th.

Right now, Just camping in my cousin's apartment here at Abby street. Its so awesome cause the Beetles Studio where all their recordings were made is just across the road and the famous zebra crossing in just about 30 seconds away.

Anws, you guys at shao er zu, seems like you guys are having quite a tiring time because of the non stop practice everyday. Well, i feel that if you need to take a break just take a break. Do what's more important first, perhaps your school work or maybe even spending time on your own interests, or even spending time with your family. Cause i feel you may just start to regret not being able to do all these once the holidays are over.

I know it's really tiring and strainful. Even i felt extremely exhausted after the 6 days camp, and im surprised at how you guys can still sustain further. If not, meanwhile just try to see the positives in it i guess. You guys have each other. That's what matters right? Haha.

Haha, well maybe im being too optimistic. xD. But just hang in there alright? Haha.

God bless.

Yppae : Magical Holiday Camp 2008

The tiring camp is over. but it was so enjoyable. waking up at 6.30 almost every morning for the past few days with qianhui, pei fen and xue yu so only that tuna and cheese could be put in between breads. Haha. Well, it was worth it. Playing games which have nothing to do with screaming but somehow the screams just appear. The shou la shou game, dog and bone, duck and goose, concentration game, chair game etc.

Yida, thanks for the great laughs and im glad you're trying your best with your faith. You're really open and thats what's interesting and amusing about that. You're a great person inside and im glad and thankful i ever known you.

Qianhui, thanks for the all kinds of laughs as well and sometimes even lame and crazy ones. But thats alright! cause we have a great time anws. You're a caring person and you're always thinking about others. You always make me happy as well and im thankful for you.

Zidan, thanks for the crazy Koo koo times that we enjoy ever so much. You're helpful and without you, the camp would definitely be hard to manage. You're organized and caring as well. Thanks for the toe. If not im afraid i would have to get a new one. Im blessed to have you as a friend.

Xue yu, thanks for the lame and amusing jokes we share. You're always creating the spark for jokes and thats what makes the camp memorable. You're caring and helpful as well. You're a great person. Keep it up. Im thankful for you as my friend.

Ting jun, thanks for the laughs as well. You're always getting your job done in which we appreciate. Really. Your loud voice is great actaully cause without it, it would just be noisy children. Haha. No but really, you're learning to be more sensitive which i feel its great cause as much as we feel it, words can make or break someone. You're a great friend to me, and im thankful for you.

Zhi bin, thanks for helping out for the camp. You did a great job. You're always doing your job without questioning back. You're gifted with your piano and you should go out there and create joy. You're really talented.

I only felt like writing this this morning. I feel as though God was telling me to tell you guys what wonderful people you are and that these are the gifts you have within. Treasure it, and go out and use them most lovingly.

Im not sure if i sound like a girl, but i just feel it would be more meaningful if it was done this way. For those whose names i didnt list, im thankful for you as well in helping with the camp. We did a good job on the whole. I wish i could continue to know you better.

Ying Xi, Xiao Jun, Wai Neng, Zac, Jin Xuan,

I'hv defnitely learnt alot from all five of you. You seniors are caring and like a teacher to me as well. Thank you.

Here are some pictures of the camp.
These are pictures from the first camp. Qing Zu! They are hilarious and i feel blessed to ever meet them.

Wednesday celebrated ting jun's bday.

Have a blessed year ahead man. =)
and he lao shi is from ACS! haha (no wonder we speak chinese the same xD)

So after that camp, just yesterday, all of us had pizza (and i dont wish to tell the prank part, haha) and played truth or dare with my bro dropping by shao er zu to join us. Played basically dares and qianhui, zhi bin, li shi, xing zhi and i had to be punished. Well, as for yida, he just enjoys it so what can i say. There were the catwalk, licking of the palms and drinking iced lemon tomato flavoured pringles! Then, it was the chair game which was amusingly fun.

After that, qianhui, yida and zhibin and i dropped by fort canning park for the ben and jerry's chunk festival. Luckily, the crowd had subsided by then. And Qian Hui's dad was so kind so as to treat us to ice cream. Thanks lots uncle.

I'll defnitely be sad thats its over, but i'll smile that it even happened.

Will be leaving for UK with my family on the 10th of December till the 24th of December in the evening. I'll miss all of you.

God bless you guys.

Tuesday, December 02, 2008

Hey guys. so this month celebrated zhi bin's birthday.

We planned this surprise for him at kopitiam where me,qianhui, tingjun, xueyu, waineng and peifen surprised him with a cake. haha, yida followed us to get his present as well which was a music score for ColdPlay songs.

So, the magical holiday camp has started. Everything is going great. The kids in my group are pretty good and they're hilarious as well. I really enjoy their company.

Well, groups leaders. lets jia you!

haha, so today actually felt good cause i got this 1 and a half hour sleep in m25. from 2 to 3.40p.m only because it was break time.

anws, favourite game of the camp. shou la shou. the clinging hand game. in which Qianhui and Peifen are refrained from standing next to each other cause the whole building would just collaspe. Seriously. haha. but its enjoyable and everyone's just having a great time.

And the lucky one which had tuna with cheese sandwich. congrats. haha. that only happens when we run out of bread.

Everything going on well. Better turn it early, big day tomorrow.

God bless
